• Five years since their s/t 7” on Aborted Society, COUNTDOWN TO ARMAGEDDON return with their first full-length release, Eater of Worlds. Based in Seattle, WA, CTA took a long hiatus following West Coast and US tours, and returned in 2008 to write new material. Dark, atmospheric crust with heavy post-punk/darkwave undertones, this is an 8-song 45RPM 12” vinyl release with a free download card for MP3 versions. Influences on Eater of Worlds range from TOTALITÄR to KILLING JOKE, while remaining unique and cohesive. Members of current and former projects such as: MEISCE, BOOK OF BLACK EARTH, CITY OF DUST, PHALANX, CLUSTERFUX, THE FACET. Recorded by Stan Wright at Buzz or Howl Studios in Portland, OR. 500 copies on red vinyl.
  • A collection of early material from NÜ-KLĒ-ƏR BLAST SUNTAN; this is the 8″ lathe and demo cassette tracks remastered and set to 12″ vinyl. These recordings were only released in very limited form (50 copies of the 8″ lathe and 100 copies of the cassette), so we are excited to unearth this archive of essential, raw, noisey, and chaotic punk from Augusta, GA featuring their original singer Katie. Comes with mp3 download card, and lyric sheet/insert.
  • From the remnants of the Baltimore-based WAKE UP ON FIRE, comes the debut full-length release by NUX VOMICA entitled “A Civilized World.” Now residing in Portland, OR, Nux Vomica picks up where The Uninspired 7” EP left off with eight tracks of powerful and epic metallic crust punk. Acoustic and clean-channel breakdowns mingle with intense, devastating overtures on this LP/CD release. With poetically and politically angered vocals, this is a completely over-the-top hardcore punk record that defies easy classification. Recorded and mastered by Jay Matheson at the Jam Room in Colombia, SC. Front Cover artwork by Jason Angst and Poster artwork by Little Debee. Initial pressing of 500 LPs on black vinyl with printed inner sleeves and a 24 x 36” poster, 1000 CD’s with poster/lyric insert. Translucent Blue Vinyl.
  • Aborted Society is proud to present the debut LP from Portland’s MURDERESS. Dark, brooding metallic d-beat crust punk with spine-tingling screaming vocals, this is an up and coming female-fronted group that falls somewhere in between the 80’s metallic punk style of groups like SACRILEGE (UK) and melody-driven crust akin to ZERO HOUR. This release comes with a poster/lyric insert, black paper inner sleeves, a nice matte-finish jacket, and a free download card of the record for MP3 players.
  • Sprawling metallic d-beat crust from this five-piece based in Portland, OR, this is the follow-up EP to their 2010 debut on ABSOC, The Last Thing You Will Ever See….  This 5-piece lineup features vocals by Jozy Kinnaman, guitars by Rachel Nakanishi and Amanda Burghard, Eben Travis on drums and Casey Lynch on bass, and ventures into some darker, more death metal influenced territory while retaining their blackened crust aesthetic.  Originally released as a cassette limited to 100 for their East Coast tour last summer, we are stoked to announce a vinyl version of these 4 blazing tracks in production right now.
  • "L'Algebra Morente Del Cielo" or "The Dying Algebra of the Sky," is the sixth full-length release from KALASHNIKOV COLLECTIVE, a 7- sometimes 8-piece romantic punk group from Milano, Italy. Defying easy classification, Kalashnikov embraces a myriad of musical and cultural influences; imagine an 80s crossover punk band doing the tango to synthesizers, and you're somewhat close. Wave, ska, metal, thrash, anarchopunk, traditional and classical interludes weave in and out at a breakneck pace, and somehow make perfect sense in the world of K! Collective. It is a lyrical protest against an impending dystopian future, and if the revolution were to throw a dance party, this would be the soundtrack.
  • We are pleased to announce our 30th release; INSIDIOUS PROCESS – s/t LP. Those of you who enjoyed the raging split 12″ we helped put out with them and AVFART 33 will be stoked on their debut full-length released in conjunction with Not Enough Records (SWE). 10 ripping tracks of metallic crust with ferocious rasping vocals from Göteborg, surrounded by an immensely heavy recording by Mattias in Studio Bengt, Hemgården, Sweden. The European version will be on black vinyl and only available through Not Enough. The US version will be 250 copies on opaque brown/silver/white splatter vinyl. 50 US copies will be a limited edition with alternate screened covers as well. Comes with mp3 download card.
  • This split 12″ features five new tracks of blazing anarcho-punk from Portland’s ADELIT@S, who are picking up right where their Llama Viva de la Rabia LP (released on ABSOC in 2012) left off.  Energetic, melodic, and tuneful punk with politically charged dual female/male vocals sung in Spanish.  Incorporating some of their latin folk influence, these tracks are punchier and more hardcore than earlier efforts.  Recorded by Stan Wright at Buzz or Howl Studios in Portland, OR. A progressive six-piece from Seattle, KOHOSH brings three tracks of inventive crust which equally harkens to 80’s peace punk as much as it does to the more melodic side of the 90’s European anarchopunk sound.  Dual guitars weave in and out of fast and mid-tempo passages accompanied with cello and harmonized female/male vocals. Recorded by Brandon Fitzsimons at Airport Grocery Studio in Seattle, WA.  Both sides were mastered by Dan Randall at Mammoth Sound in Oakland, CA.
  • While undeniably melodic crust at it’s core, Burden of Beast, the first LP from San Diego based hardcore outfit, AGE OF COLLAPSE, traverses a very thin genre line occasionally teetering into the realms of related punk, metal, doom and more. Harsh vocals backed by crushing distortion give way to atmospheric, reverb laden interludes, which personify the bands complex, almost schizophrenic songwriting. Contempt for humanity and it’s deconstruction of the natural world gives life to a tragic landscape that plays out as the main theme of this powerful and inventive record. Recorded at Big Fish Studios by Dan Maier and mastered at Mammoth Sound by Dan Randall.
